About this Project
Autohaus Papst approached us to replace their existing website with a completely new platform. The objective was to create a digital presence that reflects the daily reality of the dealership: vehicle sales, workshop services, and most importantly the people behind them. Instead of relying on a predefined template, the site was developed as a fully custom build that allows these areas to connect in a flexible way.
The interface follows the general framework of BMW’s digital presence but was implemented specifically for the needs of the dealership. Rather than recreating a rigid corporate layout, the focus was on clarity and navigation—making it easy to move between vehicle search, service information, and direct contact with the team.
A central element of the website is the live integration of the dealership’s vehicle database. Current stock, including used vehicles, is retrieved automatically and displayed as searchable inventory listings. Each vehicle page presents specifications, equipment details, pricing, and contact options, allowing visitors to move directly from browsing to inquiry.

To show the dealer’s variety of services, workshop services and offers are presented as individual sections that link directly to the service appointment system. The responsible team members appear within these sections, placing the people behind the service in context rather than separating them into a static staff page.
The project also included the complete development of the site’s structure and visual components. Particular attention was given to accessibility, search visibility, and loading performance. The website currently achieves full Lighthouse scores across performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO, with ongoing technical optimization as new vehicles and content are continuously added.
The website relaunch demonstrates how a digital platform can be built for the long term through custom web development. Tailored programming creates a future-oriented foundation that does not depend on plugins or opaque system structures. As a result, features can be expanded at any time and adapted to new requirements. This approach enables a high-performance website that works efficiently today while remaining flexible enough to evolve in the future.
